I've been entrusted with the task of finding homes for a private vintage collection of dollhouse miniatures. This is one of those pieces.
This beautiful pieces was made by David (Davey) Jones who specialized in musical instruments and furniture. This is a doll house miniature knole settee.
These were used in medieval times as a formal throne for two so that a king and queen could sit side by side, so it would be the perfect finishing touch to your miniature castle scene.
The piece has been upholstered in dark red velvet with gold fringe. As you can see in the picture, there is a slight separation between the right arm and the back.
The doll house miniature piece is 7 3/4" long to the end of the pillow on the side. The back is 4 1/2" high. It is 2 inches high to the top of the seat cushion.
