What an unusual miniature piece for your 1800's dollhouse!
A bucket bench was used before people had running water - they'd bring in a couple of buckets full of water and leave them on the bench. They were especially popular in Pennsylvania.
The buckets were kept on the bottom shelf and pitchers, basins and towels would be kept on the top shelf.
This would be great in your rustic cabin or farm house kitchen
The doll house miniature bucket bench is 3 1/4" wide and 3 1/2 inches high.
