Handcrafted Miniature Illustrated Astronomy Book - Phaenomena

The Phaenomena is a miniature book containing selected pages of a book created in Naples, Italy in 1469.

It contains colored drawings of the constellations and a circular figure of the heavens.

This doll house miniature volume contains 42 pages and measures 1 5/16" inches high, 1 inch wide and 5/16" inch thick, which is large for 1" scale.

The pages are printed on parchment paper. The dollhouse books are constructed using techniques the artist has developed for miniature books.
